Rain DOES do good things!
In case you live in a cave and haven't heard it's been raining in CA for over a week now. Some days non-stop. Lucky for me, I missed a few days of it while I was in Minneapolis for work. Enjoying winter in MSP rather than in SFO? Crazy, right?
Anyway, John discovered something beautiful on his bike ride this afternoon. A waterfall at the top of street created from all the water accumulation from the hills that surround our neighborhood.
Pretty awesome.

Lake Tahoe
Isn't this an amazing view from the deck of the place we stayed at?
We had a lovely time visiting with Tim, Anna, Jackie, Anna's parents, her sister and brother-in-law and some of their friends from college.
Settled a lot of Cataan, played Apples to Apples, drank a lot of Sparkling Apple Cider, made stew, went on a walk in the snow, and got a lot of rest.
Couldn't have asked for a better way to ring in 2010!
