We went to the only barbershop in Sausalito yesterday morning. Well, according to the barber. Caledonia Street Barbers. John is getting his picture taken for work on Monday, so he needed to trim up.
I told him it's cool if he wants to keep going back as long as his hair doesn't start looking like the guy who's cutting it! The guy has a total mullet with the top dyed blonde! A real California dude complete with Hawaiian shirt. Originally from Jersey, he came out to CA in 1963.
The whole thing was a hoot. From the lassie magazines he has laying around to letting customers answer his phone.
Much different from my regular trips to the salon, I gotta say.
